How to Submit Your Website to the 3 Top Search Engines

to create a link to your “new site” on an already “existing site” and let the spiders follow that link to your new site.

To make sure that you are being included in the three top search engines, you need to enter your URL in a search at any of these search engines. If you show up in the results, then that means that your site is already being picked up (spidered) by these search engines. If not, then submit your web site to these search engines.

A text link on the home page is fine, but if you don’t have an existing site, then submit them to the following URL’s:

Google – http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

Yahoo – http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit

MSN (Bing) – http://search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx

Once you are listed with these, you are covered for roughly 90% of the searches on the Internet.

Each search engine has their own set of rules and usually one of them is to not use search engine submission software. Manually submitting your web sites will typically get you better results.
