Blog wise Tip 3: productivity

In view of all tasks that may arise on a blogger for the list, it is not surprising that many of us struggle with the task of planning and control. Even the big names bloggers we interviewed for Blog Wise faced with these issues.

After the negative effects of stress on its productivity, Amy Porterfield has adopted a range of tools - schedule physical to Google Docs - that help smooth its daily workload and to ensure that it receives all that is.

More importantly, it actually uses these tools: she told us that it ignores everything that do not really work for it. In this way, its operational management tactics and time are in constant evolution based on personal preferences and its workload and changing objectives.

Gretchen Rubin has found that having an Office and a clear workspace, helps them feel calm and in control. "Outer order contributes to inner calm," she said. "And I think,"well, is really important if my desktop is messy, because I do not see any."" But now I've really with the fact that I feel more calm, my mind feels more orderly, when my stuff is more orderly. »

Bloggers who work at home with families of obviously to a particular set of challenges of planning. Heather and Darren explain the value of sitting at the beginning of the week - perhaps even on Sunday and look at work and life to see what is this week.

Darren also takes the opportunity to speak with his wife on family plans, so that it can plan the things he needs to do as a father, as a blogger.

Heather said that Google calendars have been a "life-changer" for her. "We connected all our calendars on Gmail," she said. And so my assistant has a calendar, my husband has a calendar, there is a calendar of the House, there is a calendar of work - me, there is a me-exercise schedule, and all those who are synchronized together on my phone so that I can watch in my day.

"I can make a change, my husband can make a change, and immediately refresh on my phone so I know what to be prepared for the rest of the day." Heather adds that although things are not always going to plan, "is having all the other days go slowly making only one or two days off the coast of the rails feasible."

Finally Leo, who blogs without goals or plans, also believes that "without a doubt I more in control of my life now that I have never been before."
